A Brush with Kindness - Yard Clean Up with ACE

We have had an awfully dry winter here in Flagstaff. We want to spend a day with a group of 10-15 volunteers cleaning up yards of dry brush, trimming back shrubs, and bagging up debris. This is great opportunity for individual volunteers or a small group to get out and make a real difference for our neighbors with disability or other health issues. Our clients are also income-qualified, meaning they cannot afford landscape clean up crews and need a helping hand from you!

These gentlemen cleaned up two yards of dangerous pine needles and brush, making homeowners safer and easier to get around. Thanks!

We're excited to work with a crew from American Conservation Experience (ACE)! Don't know about ACE? Well go learn about it on their website! Flagstaff hosts hard working ACE crews that get out and do wilderness management and restoration projects. Now they're going to partner with us and bring their skills to assist our seniors and disabled community members. We're looking forward to it!

Want to provide lunch for our volunteers? How about sponsoring this project with a donation for trash bags and new rakes? Email Caleb Alexander now and we can get you, your business, your organization, or your classmates involved!

This is an open, weather-dependent, and time-flexible event.
